Our Counter-Strike team is going to its first Major. BC Game Esports, led by Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, secured one of the five Asian invites to PGL Major Singapore 2026 after the Valve Regional Standings cutoff on 2 November.
The road to Singapore was anything but simple. A new regional rule announced in early October could have kept the team out of the Asian race, until Valve granted BC Game an exception and confirmed the roster as eligible to qualify through Asia.

How BC Game Esports Earned a Major Spot
In early October Valve added a rule to the Major supplemental rulebook: a team must be assigned to a region for three months before it can be invited through that region. BC Game had moved from the European rankings to Asia after signing asap, and the new rule put that move at risk.
On 7 October Valve published an exception in its official rules repository. It confirmed that the BC Game roster of asap, Magisk, mzinho, s1mple and Senzu is assigned to the Asia region and is eligible for a Major invitation. The decision applied to our team only.
With its points kept, BC Game held its place near the top of the Asian standings. When the 2 November cutoff was published, the team was confirmed among the five Asian invites together with The MongolZ, Chinggis Warriors, FlyQuest and Lynn Vision.
